14.00 Cliona M. Boland BL: Cliona is a practising Barrister and member of the Law Library since 2005. She has a general practice and appears in both civil and criminal Courts. Cliona has extensive experience lecturing and tutoring both students and professionals over the years on various legal topics. She has taught at Trinity College Dublin, The Honourable Society of the King’s Inns and has delivered CPD seminars to Solicitors. She is currently tutoring on the Criminal Litigation module at the Law Society’s (PPC1).
Cliona will be discussing “The Roadmap Directives” in the context of guaranteeing fair trials – a recent and little known area that practitioners can invoke for the strengthening of procedural rights of suspected or accused persons in criminal proceedings.

15.15 Dara Robinson: Dara is joint Managing and Senior Partner of the Dublin firm of Sheehan Dunphy and Partners. He qualified as a solicitor in London in 1988.
Dara has extensive experience in advising individuals and companies in relation to suspected fraud, asset seizure and money-laundering, including Revenue, CAB and GBFI investigations and trials, both civil and criminal. He is a member of the Law Society’s Money-Laundering Reporting Committee.

16.00 Eoghan Cole BL: Eoghan is a practicing Barrister in the areas of criminal and commercial law.
Eoghan was called to the Bar in 2002 and mixed practice Commercial & Criminal/Regulatory Law, appearing regularly before both the Central Criminal and Commercial Court.
Eoghan is a Former Tutor at Trinity College Dublin and Kings Inn (Law of Evidence and Company Law) and is the Author of Annotated Company Law Enforcement Act 2001 (published by Irish Current Law Statutes Annotated).
Eoghan will be will discuss Witness Coaching and how to avoid it.
